Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Orla, I started New Creation in 2014 in Ireland, and in 2017, I travelled to Asia to teach English, to see if it would be a place I would enjoy. As it happens, I do enjoy it, so now I have decided to stay in Asia.
What is New Creation?
New Creation is the name I have given to my vision. I am a Christian and I would like to help people to grow both emotionally and spiritually.
New Creation is a term given in the Bible to describe a person who has been transformed from darkness into light.
When you become a believer in Jesus Christ, you take on a new life, as you receive a new spirit. Nothing is ever the same again. The old has gone, the new has come.
“Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
I believe transformation is a spiritual work of God which requires your participation in the process. The goal is to transform every area of your life, so you will feel whole and complete, lacking nothing.
What Led Me To This Place in My Life?
I was a Registered General Nurse for over 20 years, and although I liked it and it provided many benefits, there came a time when I just couldn’t do it anymore. I had lost all grace for the job and I knew deep in my spirit that God was calling me in a new direction.
I returned to University when I was 30 and studied Anthropology and Sociology. This was very interesting for me, but it didn’t lead to any specific career, so I continued to work as a nurse.
During these years I studied Theology and every kind of Christian spirituality I could find. I was hungry for the Truth.
Later I trained as a life and business coach and started New Creation, my coaching business.
For now, my goal is to share all I can about personal development, leadership, and Christian spirituality.
In the future, I hope to develop workshops to help people heal their wounded emotions and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and have a beautiful, blessed life.
In my opinion, the reason people are not following Christ is that they either haven’t heard the gospel or have been misinformed.
I believe everyone has a right to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ at least once, and if they chose to reject Him (God) after that, that’s up to them. I’ll have done my part and will continue to answer questions for anyone who is unsure.
You cannot become a child of God by force, that’s why we say, we are “Free In Christ“ because we choose to come to Him freely, and then He sets us free by showing us the Truth. It’s amazing!
