I was the camera man for the Limestone Barrens Project. Some of my hobbies include playing hockey,playing video games,playing pool,and snowmobiling. In the last few days we visited the limestone barrens studying the wildlife and the landscape.we found out that the limestone barrens are home to 104 rare plants.We found that the biggest threat to the limestone is actually the human activity such as stealing them for flower gardens and running them down with motor bikes by mistake.This is just a little of what I learned over the last few days about this ecosystem at risk.I feel that if we keep information like this out in the open over time people will see how important the limestone barrens are so they wont hurt the plants anymore if the people stay off of the limestone barrens with atv's and other vechicles.
