I'm from Port Au Choix, Newfoundland. I'm 13 years old and in grade 8 (my second year). I have an older sister named Stephanie. I like to read,watch movies and listen to music. I also really like to travel.

During the last few days we went to the visitor center and we listened to a presentation about the limestone barrens. We recorded an interview with Jenna. Afterwards we went on the trail and looked at some rare plants. We recorded some sound of somebody from the visitor center explaining about the landscape and plants. We also recorded the wind.

The next day we recorded our sounds onto the computer and we did some interviews with different students about why they thought the limestone barrens is an important place.

December 1st 2004 This is a picture of my house when we were recording the places and changes in our school. Then we also took pictures of our homes and the art and architecture in them.

Today we went to different areas of the school and we recorded the activity in each area. We took pictures of the people in the area and the changes that occured. We did this to help us decide a good spot to set up a web cam which will take pictures of our school. Some of the students in our group also are making a video of our school to send to the students in Ireland.

Each week some of us are going to take pictures of our homes, communities, and our school. We are going to continue to do this for several weeks. I would really like to record all the different changes that occur in these areas and I would like to take pictures of some of the things that we do in Newfoundland to show to the students in Ireland. I really enjoyed doing all these different things during the past few days.
